Our Mission
Here at The Keystone Academy our mission is to encourage children of all ages to develop their full potential through a supportive and structured learning environment. In order to accomplish this mission The Keystone Academy promises to:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for all students
- Promote personal growth (e.g. self-discipline, self-esteem, self-knowledge)
- Foster an educational climate that promotes social values such as responsibility and respect for others
- Challenge students with individualized academic standards and community programs that will enable students to progress at their own pace, encourage them to strive for academic excellence, facilitate self –help skills, and foster independence
- Encourage strong family involvement in the life of the child and the school
- Establish and maintain partnerships between the school, home and community
- Extend learning beyond the classroom walls by exposing students to resources within the community
- Provide advocacy, educational, psychological, and health related services for children and families
- Explore and celebrate individual differences and contributions
